Dr. Anweshak Das cleared his MD in Psychiatry from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College with a university gold medal for academic performance in MD finals…he is currently a consultant psychiatrist in the Psychiatric clinic in Guwahati and also a consultant at Apollo Clinic Dispur and he has multiple papers, chapters published in national and international journals and books. He has also authored two books in psychiatry to date.

 

He is the current assistant secretary of Assam State Branch of Indian Psychiatric Society…he is the current assistant treasurer of Indian Association of Private Psychiatrist..he is also the current convenor of LGBT task force of Indian Psychiatric Society…he is associated with Monniramoy which deals in mental health awareness activities…his areas of interest are child and adolescent psychiatry and Community Psychiatry.
